June 30 - Syllable Symphony of Saints Game

Play a game to help children learn about the saints and practice counting syllables.

Here is another version of our well received syllable symphony that focuses on the names of saints.  This game helps children practice counting the syllables in the names of some fairly popular saints including Joseph, Luke, Anthony, Peter, Mary, Joan, Elizabeth and other.  Names contain 1-5 syllables.  There are 8 game boards and any age can play this game.  Reading is not a requirement as parents could read the names to players and children need simply match up the number of syllables in the names to the number of notes on the game board.  Download includes all playing pieces and instructions.

June 29 - Saint Biography Learning Cards for Saints Peter and Paul

Celebrate the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul.

To help celebrate this special feast day and teach children about these two very important saints, we offer a set of fill-in style learning cards.  These resources can compliment any resource you may already have in your home or find for free on the Internet.

You may find that we generally try to create resources that will work with whatever you may have home.  This is by design as most homeschoolers have a pretty good collection of books and we want to encourage people to use what they may already have as opposed to being required to go out and purchase something new.  This shows us how to be good stewards of our resources as well as our time.

Saint Paul always reminds us to run the good race..lol..lol..and even though our bodies may be too ailing to do much running any more, we can still run and finish the good race of teaching our children about their faith as we constantly strive to build up our own in the process.

June 28 - Animal Themed Story Starter Art Cards

Encourage writing or narration with imaginative art cards.

We are very excited about this new resource we created from the ideas of our kiddos.  This simple sheet of paper turns into a narration writing card that displays the artistic talents of the writer when completed.  This is perfect for the Charlotte Mason method educator or any child who likes to write or draw.
Each card begins as a sheet with a black and white animal graphic of some sort.  The learner then completes the picture by adding some of the following:  a background, details, objects, horizon line, shading or shadows.  Then the artist fills it in with colours using any favourite medium - coloured pencils, gel pens, felt tipped markers, or crayons will work fine.

After completing the drawing, the artist flips the paper over and becomes a writer. :)  Using the lines provided, children create a story or provide a description of their picture.  We have used this line spacing style to encourage new young writers or those writers who are attempting to master cursive writing.

Upon completion of both sides, fold page in half and glue.  Laminate to preserve.  These cards can be easily used in games such as:  guess what's going on in the picture or read the story a loud and ask players try to match the picture to the story they just heard.  It is lovely to see how children create such unique pieces with the exact same starting point.

BTW - If card learning really isn't your thing, you could easily create books with a collection of these cards bound on one side with a comb-bind spine, key-ring or put it into a duo-tang cut in half.

June 27 - F3 Pieces for Australia, Africa, and Antarctica added.

F3 pieces to complete your continent set.

Today we offer the final three continents - Australia, Antarctica, and Africa in our F3 List It!! set.

As a reminder, these pieces should reflect many different aspects of the continent.  Try not to focus too much on any particular area or country.

For a shortened and easier experience for younger children, you may want to just read a book highlighting the continent or country from the continent and have the learner copy in words they learned from one or a few of the books.  Examples of books could include:

M is for Maple, A Canadian Alphabet by Mike Ulmer and Illustrated by Melanie Rose
Pierre Bear by Patricia Scarry
Wee Gillis by Munro Leaf
Down, Down the Mountain by Ellis Credle
Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans
The Babar Series by Jean de Debrunhoff

For continents such as Antarctica that do not have a real population you may want to write down articles that you may pack if you were going to be a scientist visiting for 6 months at a time.  Remember that just because we have provided 8 lines, doesn't mean that they all have to be used.

Hope this gives you some addition ideas.

June 26 - List It!! F3 Pieces for South America, Europe, and Asia

More F3 Flip Flop Flap Pieces for Continental Studies.

Here are 3 more continents to add to your collection of F3 pieces for My Continental Adventure.  These are really working so well for us in our little homeschool.  We hope to have the rest of the continents done by tomorrow for you.

Don't forget to help us spread and build our online homeschool ministry.  Many homeschoolers will be breaking for just a few weeks and then the planning madness will begin - if it hasn't already for some.  :)  Please consider sharing our free resource site or blog with just one other entity - perhaps a friend, listserv, online group, blog, forum, tweet?  We're not picky..lol..lol.  We just want to reach as many homeschoolers as we can with our freebies before they go out and buy things for next year.

June 25 - List It F3 Pieces for North America Continent Study

New List It!! F3 pieces focus on the continent of North America

This year we are embarking on continental study...again.  Everything in cycles, eh?  My Continental Adventure, as we call in our little homeschool, is a lot of fun.  We designed it a few years ago complete with a multi page passport, stickers, websites, recipes, map work and saint study.  Since it has been a few years since we used it, we have been recently updating it to meet the needs of littlest learner.  Since all the kids are going to participate in this study, we had to make a few resources that suited new or reluctant writers.  These F3 (Flip, Flop and Fold) pieces are the answer.

Each piece focuses on a particular aspect of the continent including the following:  features, foods, mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, clothing, sights, saints, and countries.  The front flip piece has an actual map graphic of the continent and the inside contains spaces for 8 items to be listed.  Line spacing is inviting for new writers as well as perfect for those learning cursive.

Simply cut out the pieces on the lines.  There are 2 pieces per page.  Fold each piece twice on the vertical lines.

Glue the wrong sides of the front flip piece to the middle section.

Have learner fill in and then glue into an on-going project, notebook, file folder, or whatever you desire.

**If you know someone who is or will be studying the continents soon, these sets may be just what they are looking for.  We will be sharing and adding our My Continental Adventure resources to our resource collection as we go through the studies in our little homeschool.  We look forward to lots of fun and adventure.

We will feature List It!! sets for more continents over the weekend!! :)

June 23 - New Math Counters for Kids

New Global Themed Math Counters have been added to our resource collection.

So, we finally wore out our favourite dinosaur themed math counter set for our littlest kiddo and were ready for a new set.  Since we are starting to study the continents this week we thought what better a theme to incorporate into a new set.

This set is a bit different than our other math counter sets.  It includes the numbers from 0-100 but it is a bit more mature looking, has a focus on counting by 5s as well as a full set of symbols for older learners.  We usually print out two sets and use them for tons of games and math tasks that we do daily for review and fun.  These sets leave lots of room to grow so don't worry about the ink and paper as you can use it for multiple children or multiple ages.  For best results print out cards on heavier bond paper.  Laminate if you really want to preserve them in a classroom or for more than a few users in a home.

You may be asking, what can you do with this set or sets of these math counters?  Let us list some of the few activities we use them for in our little homeschool:

*Arrange numbers in order from 0-100.
*Call out number and have child identify.
*Call out math problems and have children write it out and solve it using the cards.
*Play Go Fish with selected numbers like 5s, 10s etc.
*Play Concentration or match-up style card games with selected numbers.
*Identify all the odd or even numbers in a selected group.
*Play War style games - who has the highest/lowest number wins, pull two cards at once and the highest sums wins, pull two cards and the highest/lowest product wins.
*Find the LCM for numbers.
*Find the factors of specified numbers.
*Have children create a pattern of numbers and tell you the rule orally like +3,-1.
*Have children skip-count their multiplication tables by arranging the cards in order.
*Create fact families or number sentences.
*Compare numbers or number sentences.
*Have races to see who can order number cards the fastest with the least errors.

There are of course so many other ways of using them but we thought we would share some of our most common ones.  If this set doesn't appeal to you we have many other themed sets in our Math Games section on our resource website http://www.thatresourcesite.com/games_math.htm .

We hope you find these cards fun and helpful math manipulatives.

June 22 - Play a Syllable Symphony for Fun!!

Play a simple Bingo style game with a twist to help children learn about animals and syllables at the same time.

Introduce or review the concept of syllable sounds with children as they learn to say and spell the names of animals.  This game has a neat twist to it in that it is played like bingo but uses a specific number of musical note graphics to represent the syllable sounds in a word.  It is simple to make and play.  This game can even be useful for non-readers as the parent could read the words and the child would only need count the syllable sounds using clapping if necessary.  It is fast to complete and several rounds could be played within 15 minutes.  Animal words utilize 1-5 syllables.

This game is designed for 2-6 players of any age and includes game boards, cards, reference list, and instructions.  More game sets will follow with different themes.  Our themes come from what we are currently studying right now in our little homeschool or will be covering in the very near future.

What a fun way and joyful way to learn about language arts and animals at the same time! :)

New Testament narration learning cards to help solidify the Bible in their hearts.

June 20 - Learning resources to help celebrate the feast day of St. Aloysius Gonzaga

St. Aloysius Gonzaga's Feast Day is June 21
"Man is born for action; he ought to do something. Work, at each step, awakens a sleeping force and roots out error. Who does nothing, knows nothing. Rise! to work! If thy knowledge is real, employ it; wrestle with nature; test the strength of thy theories; see if they will support the trial; act!"
- St. Aloysius Gonzaga
Tomorrow is the feast day of St. Aloysius Gonzaga. We offer a few resources to help children learn about this saint.

Find our fill-in style saint bio learning card featuring St. Aloysius as well as St. John the Baptist whose nativity we celebrate on the 24th of June. These are easy to complete and can be used with any resource you may already have at home.

We also have a new My Book Mini-book on this saint as well. Some may elect to use one resource or the other but we usually use both in our little homeschool as we collect our cards for trivia game play and love looking back through the little books we write.

June 19 - OT Bible Learning Cards for Narration and Other Fun

Help learners of all ages delve deeper in the Old Testament.

One of our children requested that we create today's resources.  Card learning is often a favourite in our homeschool.  These Charlotte Mason style narration cards are the perfect little tool to help readers remember what they read and learned from scripture which helps them come to better understand God's word.

Each card includes the name of the book on the from of the card and on the back there is a line for the author and also one for when it was written.  Additional lines are provided for any number of uses the least of which is simple narration.

We know that each family has different learning needs and we don't like to leave people without references on how to use our resources, so here are some ideas and possible uses for these card sets:
  • Narrate the overall theme on the book.
  • Narrate the specific meaning of passages.
  • Write a passage they wish to use for reference or commit to memory.
  • Write out events of the book in a bulleted style.
  • Write the names of people who present themselves in the specific OT book.
  • Write out the themes of psalms or individual proverbs.
  • Write out the names of places mentioned in the book - these could be used for mapping practice later on.
We hope to post cards for the books of the New Testament and more ideas on how to use them in the next day or so.  We hope you find these cards useful and fun.

June 18 - Animal Matching Game with God as Creator

Animal Silhouette Fun

We liked the animal silhouettes that we featured the other day so much that we made a card game to go with it.  It is very simple and easy to play for many different ages. Simply identify the animal in the silhouette and match it to its name.

This can be done using a Go Fish style of play, Concentration style for one to two players or a variation of Old Maid called Great Creator.  Great Creator is like playing Old Maid except that God in His goodness created all of the things pictured and we want to be with Him. The person who is left with the Great Creator card in the end is the winner.

June 16 - Classification Animal Learning Cards

Classifying God's Creatures

As we previously posted, we have made additional sets of animal learning cards that focus on Classification.  These sets use the exact same animals as our Simple Animal Learning cards but they require a full classification of each animal.  These are quite challenging and are perfect to help teach multi-aged learners at the same time.  Much of the info can be found in most encyclopedias or online using Wikipedia.  There are a host of great websites to help children (and grown-ups :) learn about animals.  Perhaps we will tackle sharing those online resources in a future post?  But for today, we focus on classifying our Lord's creatures great and small.  We adding to this collection as well as the Simple Animal Learning Cards in the near future.

Today's resource sets include the following animals:

Set 1 - Lemur, Koala Bear, Armadillo, Coatimundi, Manatee, Badger, Gray Wolf, Bearded Seal, Wolf Brown Bear

Set 2 - Moose, Coyote, American Bison, Marmot, Ground Squirrel, Raccoon, African Elephant, Lion, Masai Giraffe, East African Hippo

June 15 - What am I? Creation Themed Wall Calendar

Creation Themed Oversized Monthly Wall Calendar

We have just added a brand new monthly oversized wall calendar to our collection. This one is a bit different as it is black and white, can be used for any month of the year, and is interactive. The theme is the creation of animals. God created all of the animals, and it was good. How well can you identify His creations? This calendar uses black and white silhouettes of animals and asks you to name each one. There is a different one for each day of the month. We have also included an answer sheet for anyone who may be needing a little help. :) The border graphics are also in black and white and feature Bible passages on Creation as well.  One passage speaks on animals, the other on the creation of man.

We thought we would try something a bit different this time around - something so simple, but yet so fun and spiritual.

Simply print out sheets, cut apart, and apply to your template. If you have never used one of our calendars before, visit our calendar page from the link at left to see a sample as well as our entire collection.

June 14 - Let's Learn About Animals Part III

More Simple Animal Learning Cards

We offer sets 5 and 6 of our Simple Animal Learning Cards today.  We will be making more in the future but we thought that these would give us all a good start.  We also thought that we would share with you some ideas on how you could use these resources in your family:
  • Use these cards as an addition to an animal unit study.
  • Use these cards as an addition to science unit study .
  • Fill out a card when a picture book or novel you are reading mentions the animal as a character in it such as in Thornton Burgess stories, Beatrix Potter Stories, Parables From Nature by Mrs. Gatty, Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling, works by by Lewis Carroll and so one.  We intend to create lots more cards so that children can begin a good collection of these cards.
  • Take these sheets with you on your next nature walk, field trip to the nature sanctuary, or zoo trip.  Fill them out on the spot and then bring them home to cut apart and finish off.
  • Fill these out as the animals are mentioned in video series like Planet Earth, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Jeff Corbin, The Magic School Bus and more.
  • Use selected animals in your world Geography studies.  We have tried to include all of the continents.
  • Use completed cards for sick day learning review - once laminated they can stay germ free.  You can even wipe them down or even apply antibacterial wash to them.
  • Play trivia quest with them.  Over a bowl of popcorn or trail mix, we play a review trivia style game.  Assign players to numbers on a die.  Player roles die and asks whoever assigned to the displayed number a question about something on a Learning Card.  We decide before we start who will choose the categories.  So much fun.  This is good for in front of the fireplace winter play or outside in the yard under a shady tree summer play.
These are just a few ideas to get you started.  I'm sure there will be others you will find.  Feel free to share some of your own uses in the comment section as I will try to keep a running list and eventually post it on the Learning Cards web page.

Today's resource sets include the following animals:
Set 5 - Hummingbird, Snowy Owl, Dragonfly, Ladybug, Yellow Jacket, Honey Bee, Fly, Green Hornet, Gila Monster, Roman Snail

June 12 - Let's Learn About Animals Part I.

Use our simple style science Learning Cards to help children learn about animals from all over the world.

We are beginning to study animals in science as well as in our world geography studies.  We created these sets of Learning Cards to help children study animals and geography at the same time.  Each card asks the learner to simply circle the proper information.  This is great for younger learners who are just starting to learn research skills while still presenting and encouraging proper vocabulary use of such terms as: class, carnivore, herbivore, omnivore, vertebrate, and invertebrate.

We created these resources so that even little learners can find and note information without being overwhelmed by having to write everything out.  By circling the info the find, they can still feel a sense of accomplishment and more easily participate in multi-aged learning in science.  Not to mention that this also helps in the geography area as well.  As many animals are found on more than one continent, the opportunity to circle all that apply presents itself.  This encourages higher order thinking as well.

We have tried to list animals from various continents spanning all of the classes.  We used real photographs of animals in their habitats (wherever possible) to help really give children a good idea of what the animal looks like if they saw it for themselves.  All of our images have come from the public domain, so that has been our only limitation.

Today's resource sets include the following animals:

Set 1 - Lemur, Koala Bear, Armadillo, Coatimundi, Manatee, Badger, Gray Wolf, Bearded Seal, Wolf Brown Bear

Set 2 - Moose, Coyote, American Bison, Marmot, Ground Squirrel, Raccoon, African Elephant, Lion, Masai Giraffe, East African Hippo

We will try and present the sets over the next few days. If you know of anyone doing a continent study or animal study now or this coming academic year, why not tell them to come and visit too.

Plus - We will soon be posting a go-along Classification Animal Learning Cards for older learners to learn about animals, develop their Latin skills, and practice classifying God's wondrous creatures.

June 11 - Sacred Heart of Jesus Learning Cards

The Twelve Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Narration Card

This learning card set comes on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The top card gives a listing of the Twelve Promises of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the bottom card gives a colouring opportunity for learners on the front and a chance to narrate on the back.  Children could narrate what the Sacred Heart of Jesus is, what it means, what is means to them, or perhaps even a prayer to Jesus.

Simply print out, fill-in, cut apart, and glue.  Laminate for durability and longevity.

Don't forget to pray for your priest and all priests today as the Year for Priests comes to a close today.

June 10 - Help Children Find Bible Passages

Little F3 Piece to help children build confidence in reading the Bible

Finding passages in the Bible can be a little daunting for new readers, young readers, and those new to the faith.  We found that to be the case in our CCD class this past year and so we came up with a fun little F3 Piece to meet this challenge.

Simply cut out the pieces, punch out the little circles, lay in order and attach a brad.  The first page is an explanation on how to read Bible passage reference numerals.  The next page asks learners to find passages to well known Bible events.  If they follow the numbers correctly, they should end up at the specified event.  I usually order the page pieces chronologically as the events took place.

Are you asking yourself what are F3 Pieces? :)  They are our answer to lapbooking.  Quite frankly, we can never finish a lapbook because of the sheer volume of things to do to complete the tasks as suggested or set out by the author.  Now I know that you can make adjustments, but it was all too much for us accomplish with multi-aged learners - some with unique needs.  We wanted the fun of cutting and playing with paper without the constraints.  Voila - little pieces that you Flip, Flop and Fold (F3) that could be added to other projects already on the go.  All the fun of lapbooking in self-contained mini-projects that you can glue into notebooks, use as a stand alone resource, or incorporate into worksheets.  Now that's different, stress-free, and very do-able.

Look for more F3 pieces to come.

June 9 - Learning Cards for the 7 Days of Creation and the Garden of Eden

New Learning Cards to Learn or Narrate About the 7 Days of Creation

As part of our science lesson this week, the children learned about creation vs. evolution.  These cards were created to help the kids recall the days of creation in a narrative style.  Each card provides a cute clip art reminder of the events on one side and a space for the Genesis passage numerals and narration.  Children could do a number of things on the lines.  Here are just a few suggestions:
  • Copy the passage or a portion of the passage directly from the Bible
  • Narrate what they remember from the passage for the specified day
  • Copy one sentence from the passage beautifully
  • Find and list all of the nouns from each passage
  • Find and list all of the adjectives from each passage
  • Select a phrase to explain - Made in Our Image or According to its kind for example
  • List favourite words from the passage
  • List new words from the passage - expanse, firmament, herb etc.
The lines are fairly close together so don't be afraid to let younger children skip lines to provide more writing space.  These cards are always a big hit because they are not intimidating like a large full page of binder paper could be.  These cards are perfect for home Bible study or CCD classes.

Click Here to download our 7 Days of Creation Learning Card Set.

Tomorrow we will have a tangible resource to help young learners use the Bible properly.  It is great as a stand alone piece or used in a Bible lapbook unit study.  We have used them successfully in our CCD class.

June 8 - More St. Anthony of Padua resources

More learning fun with St. Anthony of Padua

Trading cards are a great way to build knowledge while having fun.  Children learn about the saints in little portions helping to commit details to memory.  Our brand new trading card features our family friend, St. Anthony of Padua.   Each sheet has four identical cards to make it easier to use in families and CCD classes.

To use, simply cut apart, fold and glue.  We laminate ours and then put them on a key ring.  Our youngest loves to use them as bookmarks for her daily school subjects.

You will also find links below to our expanded St. Anthony notebooking sheets in various styles and line spacing - blank, you draw, pictures and a space to draw.  Here are a few of sample pages.

June 6 - New set of Artist Learning Cards

New set of artist Learning Cards available.

We have a new set of quick fill-in style Learning Cards.  They feature artists William-Adolphe Bouguereau and Pompeo Batoni.  We have also put a new little graphic at the bottom right hand corner to help identify each person as an artist.  This is something new we are trying to help our children categorize their Learning Cards.

Be sure to check out our entire collection of Our Learning Cards using our resource links or by searching our blog.

June 5 - William-Adolphe Bouguereau Montessori Cards

Oh, if homeschooling were only this peaceful all the time :)

I was totally moved by this painting (at left) that I came across in the Wikicommons gallery the other day.  It was entitled Song of the Angels and it was painted by the French, Academic painter, William-Adolphe Bouguereau.  I thought it was so beautiful that I wanted to see more works from this artist.  I found many more beautiful pieces, which lead me to create this set of six Montessori cards featuring a self-portrait of the artist, three religious pieces and two others.

Simply print out cards, cut apart, and explore.  We will soon have Learning Cards to help children better explore art through simple guiding questions and exercises.  Visit us daily or subscribe to our blog to keep up with our new daily resources.

June 4 - Learning Cards for Dedication of the Months and the Mysteries of the Rosary

Use Our Learning Cards to organize your year as well as pray the rosary.

These cards are always a hit in our homeschool as well as for CCD use.  They are small enough for big hands while big enough for little hands.  Today's set has one card that is a reference for the Dedication of the Months and the other card provides a reference for the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

Simply download, print, cut apart on the lines, fold and glue.  We laminate all of our Learning Flashcards so that they can be used over and over on an ongoing basis.  They have been taken outside, taken on trips, and used on sickdays.

*We will be offering many more sets in various subject areas throughout this month and in the coming months so be sure to bookmark our site or better yet, subscribe to our blog to keep up to date.  If you are a Classical style learner or know others who could benefit from these resources, please consider sharing our site with them.  Feel free to grab a button to put on your blog - we offer them in a few different styles.

June 3 - Dedication of the Months Game

Learn and reinforce the Dedication of the Months with this quick and easy matching game.

Do you ever have so many things on your plate that you don't know where to start or what to do first?  If you are a homeschooler than you know this feeling all too well.  Many times this same feeling can happen in our spiritual and prayer life.  There are so many things and people to pray about or pray for that we sometimes don't know where to concentrate our efforts.  We want to offer adoration, contrition, thanksgiving, and of course, supplication, but how do we organize it all.  If we were called to religious life, than we would have way more prayer time but the fact is, we aren't.  We are part of a teaching order, but it is within the confines of married life, for most of us. :)   God knew that it would become progressively difficult for man to keep Him at the forefront of daily life and so He thought of everything - as if we didn't already know that.  The Catholic Church developed the Dedication of the Months to help us keep our spiritual prayer life in order.  Each month is dedicated to a special mystery of the faith or special saint.  This helps us to better focus our spiritual energies and keep God at the centre of our life.

January - The Holy Name of Jesus
February - The Passion
March - St. Joseph
April - The Resurrection
May - The Blessed Virgin
June - The Sacred Heart
July - The Precious Blood
August - The Assumption
September - The Holy Cross
October - The Rosary
November - The Poor Souls (Holy Souls in Purgatory)
December - Advent (The Coming of Christ)

Today's resource is a little game that matches month name to dedication.  Simply print out, cut apart, mix-up and then match-up.  Laminate pieces for longevity.  This game is perfect for fun faith formation at home or in a CCD class.  Many adults do not have these committed to memory either so this game can be useful for all ages.

June 2 - Sacred Heart of Jesus Montessori Cards

Heart of Jesus,  full of goodness and love, have mercy on us.

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  What better a way to begin this month than by pondering this beautiful tradition of our Lord through pictures.

Today we offer a set of Montessori cards based on sacred art depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  We have included some well known versions as well as some lesser known representations including St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Louis Gonzaga.  We have even added a card for children to colour their own version of the Sacred Heart.  Laminate these up and you have reinforcement for Church tradition as well as art lessons.

Enjoy!

June 1 - Extra Resources to Kick off June

June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and today is the Feast Day of St. Justin.

We have some extra additions to share today.  We happily offer a really neat worksheet packet about the Sacred Heart of Jesus shared by Thinking Love, No Twaddle. (Find out more about this mom at her blog.)  This is a neat offering as she has a colouring page and art page for young ones and meatier learning pages for older ones.  You just have to love multi-aged homeschools!  These are very informative and solid.  Thanks again to Thinking Love No Twaddle. :)

Today is also the feast day of St. Justin Martyr.  Help your learners find out more about and narrate what they learn by using our My Book Mini-book: St. Justin Martyr.  These mini-books are always a favourite and include writing prompts to keep learners on track whether they are writing or drawing out the information.  They are perfect for lapbooking as well.
