A Little Lesson on the Baptism of our Lord

Hot off the printer and straight to you in time for the weekend - a new Little Lesson on the Baptism of Jesus

This Sunday we celebrate the Baptism of our Lord in the River Jordan by his cousin, John the Baptist.  There is so much richness in this event that speaks of the institution of the Sacrament of Baptism by Jesus himself.  In this event we also see the example of obedience that Christ has to his Father as well as the loving return that He has for him in the simple sentence:  "This is my beloved son, with whom I am well pleased."

Today we share A Little Lesson on the Baptism of Jesus resource from Michelle of the wonderfully refreshing blog, Thinking Love, No Twaddle.  This nine page resource has tons of great info and data, pictures of classic art for art study, notebooking sheets, questions for discussion, a suggested art project plus Bible references and an answer key.  It just doesn't get much better than that, especially because it is all for free!!

We just got this in from Michelle today and we wanted to make sure that you got it in time for the weekend or Monday - although you could use this at any time during the year or with a sacrament unit study.  One of my favourite things about this Little Lesson is that it includes so much info that you don't need to search though tons of other references to really understand what she is sharing.  It really is a self-contained lesson and that is a wonderful gift for us busy moms.  Thanks so much, Michelle!!
